Jim Dowd

Jim has been the volunteer coordinator with Zion's Way since 2006 after 25 years of experience working in the hospitality and customer service field. Jim graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Hotel Administration he worked as a supervisor and manager at Caesars Palace where he was first introduced to volunteering with a hospice agency through a fellow staff member. Jim is also the Spiritual Assistant for our hospice clients whom he feels blessed to serve. His education and background have provided him with the personal skills necessary for these unique positions. Jim lives in Cedar City with his wife and two children where he can be found serving his church, hiking and camping in the nearby mountains, playing with his pet Akita or reading a good book.
